Rebecca’s personal journey of hardship and awakening informs the way she supports others in finding healing. Rebecca’s recovery process led her to self-discovery and the endless love she now recognizes was always there. She holds a Masters degree in Psychological Counseling from Monmouth University and is working towards her Licence Addictions Counselor (LAC) qualification. Rebecca is also exploring a training in Himalayan singing bowl sound therapy, tapping into the spiritual outlets that supported her own path to healing.

Rebecca has worked in crisis support, assisting those in their darkest hours, and in residential inpatient treatment for substance use disorders. She has experience with all ages and has the ability to show up intuitively and authentically to create rapport with each individual client. She does this with compassion, humor, light, inspiration, and hope for the relationship. She loves body/mind healing and experiential/alternative therapies and has a vast knowledge and understanding of the practical tools and modalities to go along with them. She personally practices daily meditation in many forms, as well as breathing practices, and is really into yoga, exercise, and getting outside to experience the healing powers of nature. Fun fact: she loves astrology & tarot and was born on Halloween on a full moon and has a black…Lab.

What is your nickname? I actually don’t have one! People call me by my full name, Rebecca.

Where did you grow up? I’m a Jersey girl! I grew up on the Jersey shore, about 15 minutes from the beach and when I’m reunited with the ocean it is pure bliss…

What was your favorite class in school (k-grad school)? In college I would say it was abnormal psychology- fascinating! I also loved religious studies.

Who was your favorite band growing up? Boy did I love the Black Crowes, but…it was the 80’s so there were endless fun songs and bands and one-hit wonders that were too cool…

Name your 3 favorite jobs you’ve had? Hands down working as a lifeguard was the best job ever! I also loved working in a massage treatment center, and working with a fun crew at Barnes & Nobles.

What do you love doing more than anything else in the world? Too many things! Road trips are definitely number one. Floating in the ocean or going to the outdoor swimming pool in the summer. Campfires. Horseback riding. Hot tubs. Hikes. Concerts.

What’s your favorite food? Dumplings (or anything in the broad category of Asian food), soups & hearty salads

Chocolate or vanilla? Text or phone call? Truth or dare? Both, depends. Text me. Truth.

Your greatest accomplishment? Having my son.

What do you know now that you wish you knew then? That I am loved.

What did you want to be when you grew up? An Environmental Scientist. I wanted to save the animals.
